RUPERT FAUST

Born and bred in the sub-tropics of SE QLD, Rupert Faust is the founding member and managing director of Grounded Permaculture Action Party (Inc.) and label boss of Beanstalk Records.

His lifelong dedication to environmental, social and cultural change is second to none. Aside from all his multitude of music endeavours, Rupert is an Environmental Engineer who spent several years conforming to the urban water industry. A natural polymath and systems thinker, he quickly got bored developing patchwork solutions for a dysfunctional paradigm.

His passion for prepping, growing food, living off-grid and taking responsibility for his existence inevitably led him down the path of permaculture.

In 2016, he brought together the seemingly disconnected worlds of music and permaculture with the very first Grounded Gathering. From this moment of organic inception, Grounded has naturally evolved into a reputable not-for-profit community organisation, a resilient ecosystem of interconnected Events, Enterprises, Online Education and the Regenerative Living Hub at Natural Bridge.

PHILIP TRIPP

Philip is a writer, poet, lawyer and activist for freedom and social change.

His passion for using the complex ecological and social challenges of our times as a chance to awaken to our highest potential is woven throughout his writing, seminars, courses and consulting work.

Philip spends most of his time living among communities that he is part of co-creating in Guatemala and Australia. He loves to garden, write poetry, practice meditation and perform devotional music.

With over 12 years of experience in the construction and renewable energy industries, Philip has spent the last few years traversing continents, living among diverse communities whilst studying permaculture and natural building.

As founder of the Australia Freedom Network and co-founder of the Witheren Heights Project (an off-grid intentional community in South East Queensland, Australia), Philip brings a wealth of legal, construction, and community development expertise to guide his clients through the intricacies of community establishment.
